The Grand Forks Commission and the East Grand Forks Council have approved the TDP. The Grand Forks-East Grand Forks MPO has also approved the recommendations included in the document.

Download Brochure with Potential Changes to Fixed Routes

An on-going issue with the CAT fixed route service is keeping buses on schedule. The routes were originally set up 10 to 15 years ago and traffic volumes were lighter. In addition, over periodic "tweaks" to the routes have resulted in miles being added to routes, but changes have not been made to the run times. The result growing congestion and adding route miles is an increasing difficulty to keep on schedule.

As part of the transit development plan, changes to the current routes to reduce the run time (and improve on-time performance) have been proposed.

Review the proposed changes and provide comments.
